Update 1.3.1.0

Pets! You can now tame and befriend all animals which are not plagued by corruption. Furthermore, you can crossbreed them in a special device to obtain more exotic DNA structures.

  • A special “capture” grenade is now available. When hitting with it, a creature will get captured inside
  • You can then release this creature back into the wild as your pet using that filled grenade
  • Creatures have a hunger bar indicator which depletes slowly. When reaching zero, the creature will turn back into a wild animal
  • A creature mixer appliance has been added where two compatible captured creatures can be merged into another one inheriting traits from both parents

 Spaceships

  • Changed the aim-assist logic for ships and they now lead the fire a lot more correctly and hit their target
  • Ship doors and hatches can now be placed horizontally
  • Fixed a couple of issues causing black screens for ship passengers
  • Fixed many issues related to resetting and repairing ships on dedicated server
  • Fixed an issue causing player ships to be reset on dedicated servers
  • The warp-travel UI no longer computes travel paths as it was creating confusion
  • Fixed an issue blocking interaction with newly purchased ships

Other changes

  • Fixed stacking of batteries of different charge levels.
  • Added the continuous “backspace” press to clear input and chat boxes.
  • Objects on the space station now get saved, leaving stuff there will no longer end up in losing them.
  • Fixed a bug related to the “Split” action on stacks of resources inside the Darkness Purifier UI.
  • Fixed an issue causing the jetpack sound to trigger without the jetpack being active.
  • Enemies will now spawn with an active attack cooldown so freshly created enemies don’t hit you the very same moment.
  • Created a new sound slider for combat sounds level.
  • Fixed the UI count of secondary craft items in the crafting panel.
  • Fixed an issue causing the host of a multiplayer match to be invisible to the clients.
  • Improved the Network state on PS5 – disconnection should trigger less often.
