In the recent update for Cubic Odyssey, we’ve taken Adventure Mode to a whole new level—perfect for those who’ve already beaten the story and crave fresh challenges. Today, we’d like to walk you through the key changes.
The biggest tweak is a brand-new galaxy “seeding” system. From now on, every time you start a new game in Adventure mode, planets and star systems will appear in different locations—so your previous map knowledge won’t give you an edge. Think of it like cereal in a bowl of milk: a different order every time.
At the start of the game you will be spawned on a random planet with a speeder, a spaceship, tier-1 gear, batteries and a stack of resources to build your first shelter. It’s up to you to figure out where you are and what to do next.
What if you already started your adventure before the update and want the beginner’s spaceship and speeder? Don’t worry—we haven’t forgotten about you. You’ll receive it automatically the next time you load your Adventure mode save.
If you’re planning to play co-op with a friend, remember: only characters in the same game mode can join your online session. For Adventure mode co-op, each player must create a separate Adventure mode character to join the server.
