Update 1.0.1.28
Pirates no longer attack unmanned ships, the recycler no longer clones batteries, and several crash issues — including those when exiting the game, landing on planets, and some other cases — have been fixed. We’ve added cargo sorting for ship inventories and color customization for ramps, stairs, and railings.
Improvements and New Features
- Added item sorting to ship cargo tabs.
- Pirates no longer attack ships without a pilot, including doors and placed modules. Previously, even empty ships would get damaged, but now these targets are ignored by the AI.
- Ramps, stairs, and railings can now be painted in different colors.
Bug Fixes
- Lowered VRAM usage on Steam Deck — this should fix crashes near pirate bases.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when landing on certain planets.
- Fixed an issue where exiting the game could trigger a false crash report.
- Fixed a bug where transferring one battery to a slot would erase the whole stack.
- Fixed a duplication bug with energy cells in the recycler.
- Fixed an issue that caused the main quest to get blocked at the "Free the Queen" step
Progress and Quests
- You can now abandon quests again in Adventure Mode.
- Fixed a progression blocker that asked players to re-purify Fintan 1.
- Fixed a bug that could block progression if pirate bases were cleared before the relevant quest was active.

Speeders
Planets in Cubic Odyssey are massive, and sometimes traveling on foot can be slow and dangerous. That’s why the game features a variety of vehicles to help you move faster. Speeders are sold throughout the galaxy — just find a trader in the nearest city.

How to choose your spaceship
You can find four different types of spaceships in Cubic Odyssey. They all serve their purpose and have their pros and cons.
