This update focuses on improving game stability and refining controller support. Here’s what has been addressed:
Controls & UI
- Added dead zone settings for left and right controller sticks
- Fixed the “swap left/right joysticks” setting not working
- Improved controller UI navigation — some previously unreachable buttons are now accessible
- Fixed a crash when navigating menus with a controller and quitting to the main menu
Online & Save Stability
- Fixed an issue that caused excessive network message spam, which could lead to lag and desynchronization.
- Resolved a bug that could corrupt your save after leaving an online session
Crashes & Bugs
- Fixed a crash related to the QB-1’s target being destroyed
- Fixed crashes when interacting with the smuggler on a certain space station
- Fixed crashes caused by modded items in the player’s inventory
- Fixed crashes caused by explosions
- Fixed a crash occurring from destroying certain types of pirate ships
- Removed certain platform stats tracking that could cause instability
