Hotfixes and Future Multiplayer Updates — 16.05.25

Post-release bug fixes and balance changes: damage to the player and his equipment has been reduced, pirates are not as bloodthirsty towards newcomers, anti-meteor turrets have become more effective. We also continue to work on Multiplayer fixes.
- Damage dealt to items in a player’s inventory upon death has been reduced by half.
- Pirates now leave after killing the player.
- The pirates are now not being attracted to a player’s base unless a player has a ship.
- Damage from all sources against the player has been significantly reduced (approximately by half). We're looking into further balancing this if required.
- Ship repair cost in both materials and qubits has been halved.
- The fire rate of the anti-meteor turrets has been doubled.
- Meteor showers are more spread now, considerably lowering the chance they land on your base.
- Meteor turret projectiles now work like projectiles of flak cannons, blowing up multiple meteors in a large range.
- While we are working on ensuring proper quest progression in online sessions, multiplayer will be temporarily limited to Creative and Open Adventure game modes only.
- Fixed an issue where progress could be lost after returning from an online session. In some cases, previously lost saves might now be restored if they weren't overwritten.
An Update on Multiplayer
We are also working on bringing full quest progression while connected to online sessions. In addition to that we'll be focusing on other issues like item interactions, vehicle repairing and crafting. We'll update you as soon as we can share more details.
