Exploring the galaxy

While traveling around the galaxy, you may come across many undiscovered planets. By simply looking at them, you can see how many light-years it will take to get there. You’ll also be able to see how strongly a planet is consumed by Red Darkness, how advanced its technologies are, how dangerous the enemies are, and what level of resources you can gather.
The route to some planets may not be short enough for a regular flight. If a planet is too far away, you can activate cruise mode, which helps you cover long distances in a short period of time. Don’t forget to use the map of the system—it will make navigation much easier.

When you're done exploring your current star system, you might want to check out some of the others. To get there, you’ll need to make a warp jump, which requires your spaceship to have warp cells, that can be crafted or purchased from NPCs.

Once you've discovered a new star system, you can use warp gates to return to systems you’ve already visited.

The galaxy map also shows how many planets each system contains and how many warp jumps are needed to reach your destination.

You’ll be able to explore the galaxy of Cubic Odyssey on May 14th, when the game releases on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Don’t forget to add it to your wishlist on Steam and try out the free demo!
